When Conservative shadow justice secretary Nick Timothy witnessed Islamic prayer taking place in Trafalgar Square, he rushed to share photos of the Ramadan event on social media, describing it as an "act of domination" and "straight from the Islamic playbook".
His words found support, however. Not only did Tory leader Kemi Badenoch say she supported his words, and has questioned if events like the one in question "fit within the norms of a British culture."
Timothy was also backed by far-right activist and convicted criminal Tommy Robinson (Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon) who also celebrated Timothy's comments online.
With right-wing voices only targeting people practicing their Muslim faith in public, which is a legally permitted act for people of all religions, The News Agents ask if the Tories have a problem with this one specific group.
