Emily Maitlis asks Congressman Tiffany: "Why should voters in the critical swing state of Wisconsin trust you?"

Wisconsin is the centre of the world right now. The world’s media has descended to watch Trump retake his place on stage in Milwaukee after a bullet nearly killed him.

But - in other ways - it is always the centre of the world. Wisconsin is one of the swingiest of swing states. The Democrats won it last time by just 20 thousand votes. The power a single voter here wields is enormous. Which means that people here know their vote doesnt just matter, it REALLY matters.

Wisconsin will often decide the next President of the United States.

Meet Congressman Tiffany. He’s a Republican for the 7th district - and is as big as fan of Trump as they come. In fact, he refused to certify Joe Biden as America’s next president in 2020.

I sat down with him to ask why voters should put their trust in the Democratic system here in Wisconsin, when their own legislators refused to follow the will of the people.
