What’s the story?
Donald Trump is making waves once again – and not just in the political world.
These waves are on the top of his head, after he debuted a new yellow hairstyle during a speech at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas.
During his appearance, he spoke about the US economy, endorsed local Republicans and called Canada's leadership "nasty". But it was his appearance that drew the attention.
"No one could listen to a word of that speech, because everyone was thinking 'what the f*** has happened to his hair? Where did all that come from?" Jon Sopel says.
He describes Trump's usual look as a "Bobby Charlton-style" combover, "thin, wispy and grey".
Having previously worked as the BBC's North America editor, Jon Sopel has first-hand experience of the Trump grooming regime.
He reveals how, in a press scrum with the president during his first term in office, Jon felt like he would "pass out" due to being pushed so closely to Trump.
Not because of the number of reporters scrambling to speak with the president, but because of the smell of hairspray holding his hair in place.
"Even if he went out into a force 10 hurricane, nothing is going to move what’s on the top of that head," Jon says.
